Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev extended condolences to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev following the tragic incident in the Caspian Sea that caused the loss of service members’ lives.
At the Organization’s Secretariat in Beijing, the flags of Kazakhstan and the SCO were lowered to half-mast as a sign of national mourning.
