Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Activities of the SCO Member States

On 6 September 2025, the 24th Meeting of Ministers Responsible for Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Activities of the SCO Member States took place in Vladivostok as part of Russia’s chairmanship.
The meeting adopted a Joint Statement of the Ministers and a Plan for the Implementation of the Framework for Cooperation among SCO Member States in the Development of the Creative Economy.
Meeting of Finance Ministers and Governors of Central (National) Banks of the SCO Member States
This mechanism operates in accordance with the Regulations on Meetings of Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the SCO Member States (approved by the Heads of States Council on 29 May 2003).
On 3 June 2025, a meeting of Finance Ministers and Governors of Central (National) Banks of the SCO Member States was held in Beijing in a hybrid format as part of China’s chairmanship.
Meeting of Transport Ministers of the SCO Member States
This mechanism operates in accordance with the Regulations on Meetings of Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the SCO Member States (approved by the Heads of States Council on 29 May 2003).
On 2 July 2025, Tianjin hosted a Meeting of Transport Ministers of the SCO Member States in a stakeholder format, under the chairmanship of the Chinese side.
Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the SCO Member States
On 30 July 2025, the 10th Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the SCO Member States took place in Kunming as part of China’s chairmanship. A Joint Statement was adopted following the meeting.
Meeting of Energy Ministers of the SCO Member States
On 26 June 2025, the Fifth Meeting of Energy Ministers of the SCO Member States was held in Ningbo in a hybrid format, under China’s chairmanship.
The participants agreed to continue coordinating the draft the Roadmap for the implementation of the SCO Energy Cooperation Development Strategy for the period until 2030.
Meeting of the SCO Ministers of Industry
On 7 July 2025, Yekaterinburg, Russia, hosted the Third Meeting of the SCO Ministers of Industry, under the chairmanship of the Russian side.
The participants approved the Rules of Procedure of the SCO Permanent Working Group on Industry and the Regulations on the Organisation of Congress and Exhibition Events under the Auspices of the Meeting of the Ministers of Industry of the SCO Member States.
Meeting of the Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the SCO Member States Responsible for Plant Quarantine Cooperation
On 23 July 2025, Tianjing, China, hosted the Second Meeting of the Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the SCO Member States Responsible for Plant Quarantine Cooperation. It took place in a hybrid format. The participants adopted a Joint Statement.
Meeting of the Heads of Anti-Monopoly Authorities of the SCO Member States
On 24 April 2025, the First Meeting of Heads of Anti-Monopoly Authorities of the SCO Member States was held in Moscow as part of Russia’s chairmanship. The participants approved the Regulation on the Expert Working Group of the Antimonopoly Authorities of the SCO Member States.
Meeting of the Heads of Railway Administrations of the SCO Member States
On 29 November 2024, the Fifth Meeting of Heads of Railway Administrations of the SCO Member States was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Russian side.
The participants approved the updated Workplan of the Meeting of the Heads of Railway Administrations of the SCO Member States for 2023-2025.
Meeting of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the SCO Member States
On 14 and 15 April 2025, the Seventh Meeting of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions of the SCO Member States was held in Dushanbe under the chairmanship of Tajikistan.
The participants adopted the Joint Statement and approved the Plan of Events relative to Cooperation between Supreme Audit Institutions of the SCO Member States for 2025-2027.
