On the International Investment and Trade Fair in Liaoning

On 23 September 2026, the 7th China Liaoning International Investment and Trade Fair opened in Shenyang, China, under the theme of "New Impetus for Opening-up, A New Chapter for Revitalization."

The event brought together about 3,000 political and business representatives from more than 50 countries. Mongolia was the Guest Country of Honor, and Jiangsu Province was the Partner Province. Guests were welcomed by Zhou Qiang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

At the invitation of the organizers, a delegation of the SCO Secretariat led by SCO Deputy Secretary-General Midhun T.R. attended the Fair.

The China Liaoning International Investment and Trade Fair has been held since 2020 and serves as one of the platforms for developing trade and economic cooperation. More than 1,000 business projects have already been concluded on its sidelines.
