On 18 September 2026, the international SCO anti-drug operation "Spider Web," conducted from 14 to 18 September across the territories of the SCO member states, concluded in the Issyk-Kul Region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The operation was coordinated by the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and brought together the competent authorities of the SCO member states and the SCO Secretariat, involving a total of about 25,000 personnel.
The operation marked an important stage in strengthening cooperation among the SCO member states in combating transnational drug crime.
