On 17 September 2026, the third Meeting of the Heads of Antimonopoly Authorities of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Dushanbe in a hybrid format.
The event was attended by heads and representatives of the antimonopoly authorities of the SCO member states, as well as a delegation of the SCO Secretariat led by Deputy Secretary-General S. Khan (online).
The Deputy Secretary-General highlighted the role of antimonopoly regulation and the protection of fair competition in developing trade and stimulating investment and innovation across the Organization's space, and noted that sectoral cooperation is aimed at achieving practical results.
An exchange of views took place on current issues of deepening interaction. The heads of delegations considered a wide range of topics related to enhancing ties among SCO member states in the field of antimonopoly policy, including countering cross-border violations and developing joint institutional mechanisms.
