On September 3, 2026, the regular meeting of the Expert Group on the Implementation of the Road Map of the SCO Member States for the Gradual Increase in the Share of National Currencies in Mutual Settlements was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of the Kazakh side.
The participants discussed current issues and exchanged views on the future activities of the Expert Group.
The Road Map was approved by the decision of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO Member States in September 2022 in Samarkand, and is aimed at creating conditions for the development of mutual settlements in national currencies among the Member States of the Organization.
