On August 27–31, 2026, a series of meetings of the Council of National Coordinators (CNC) of the SCO member states was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.
The parties discussed the substantive agenda of the 26th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO, which is taking place in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 31 – September 1. The National Coordinators reviewed documents being prepared for signing by the leaders.
On August 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met with the National Coordinators and highly commended the work of the CNC, emphasizing the importance of this institution's efforts in preparing decisions that define the Organization's development trajectory.
