On August 24, 2026, an expert meeting was held via videoconference to discuss the initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the establishment of a Center for the Analysis of Water Problems of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
A concept of the Center, including its goals and vision, objectives and priority areas of activity, as well as the organizational framework and principles of its functioning, was presented.
