On August 13, 2026, at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Beijing, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan met with representatives of the China-Eurasia Economic Cooperation Fund and China Energy Construction Overseas Investment.
The parties held a substantive exchange of views regarding the prospects for cooperation along the lines of the Organisation's member states. They paid particular attention to issues of investment ties and the implementation of joint projects, including in the energy sector.
The parties expressed their intention to deepen dialogue for the practical elaboration of mutually beneficial initiatives in the interests of the economies of the SCO countries.
