On July 19–22, 2026, a regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the SCO member states was held in Cholpon-Ata under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The participants finalized preparations for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the SCO member states, scheduled for July 24, 2026, in Cholpon-Ata, and continued coordination on draft documents to be submitted for consideration by the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member states in Bishkek on September 1, 2026.
The National Coordinators also discussed current issues on the Organization's agenda and the progress of implementing activities under the Kyrgyz chairmanship, reaffirming their commitment to continued constructive work in the interests of the successful convening of the upcoming meetings of the SCO statutory bodies.
