On July 13–16, 2026, a joint meeting of experts on personnel, legal and financial-budgetary issues of the SCO member states was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Beijing, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.
The participants of the the meeting had a thorough exchange of views on issues related to improving personnel policy, the international legal framework, and the financial-budgetary activities of the SCO in the context of implementing the decisions of the Council of Heads of State of the Organisation, as well as ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the SCO's work.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in the personnel, legal, and financial-budgetary spheres, noting the importance of an integrated approach to the further development of the Organisation and ensuring the effective functioning of its permanent bodies.
