On July 13, 2026, Bishkek hosted the presentation of the fifth volume of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" The event was attended by Mo Gaoyi, Deputy director of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Head of the Press Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Roza Otunbayeva, former President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arslan Koichiev, Secretary of State of the Kyrgyz Republic, Liu Jiangping, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kyrgyzstan, Yu Yingfu, Deputy Director of the PRC Department for the Publication and Distribution of Literature in Foreign Languages, as well as over 200 representatives of the political, business, academic, expert-analytical and media circles of China and Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Piao Yangfan delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the presentation.
Piao Yangfan noted the importance of holding the event in the year of the SCO's 25th anniversary, as well as in the final period of the Kyrgyz Republic's chairmanship in the Organization.
The Deputy Secretary General stressed that the SCO member states advocate for respect for the right of peoples to choose their own path of development, while actively promoting the exchange of experience in the field of public administration. They expressed confidence that the publication of a translated version of the fifth volume of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" will contribute to a deeper and more objective understanding of China and strengthen inter-civilizational dialogue in the region.
