From July 9 to 13, 2026, the 32nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair (CLZITF) is being held in Lanzhou City (Gansu Province, PRC), organized by the People's Government of Gansu Province.
This year's event is held under the motto:"New Opportunities for Pragmatic Cooperation, New Model of Open Development." The fair is attended by leadership from the China-ASEAN Center, delegations from European and African countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the PRC, and the SCO Secretariat.
The platform traditionally serves as an important instrument for strengthening trade and economic cooperation, stimulating investment along the routes of the Silk Road Economic Belt, and developing the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
The centerpiece of the fair is the zone for trade and economic cooperation and cultural exchanges among SCO member states, showcasing the economic and investment potential of the "SCO family" with an emphasis on achievements in trade, industry (including traditional manufacturing), as well as rich cultural and historical heritage. Participants are also demonstrating their readiness to deepen practical multilateral cooperation across the SCO space.
In his welcoming address at the opening ceremony, Wang Guangqian, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, noted that the Lanzhou Fair has grown from a regional exhibition into a national platform that promotes the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and is oriented toward building a new model of open development.
The event program includes tours of the exhibition area, meetings with organizers and business circles, as well as discussions on practical steps to deepen interregional interaction across the SCO space.
