The Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation has announced the results of the contest for the best article on the SCO among undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students of higher education institutions from member states, titled "25 Years of the SCO: Partnership for a Sustainable Future."
Over six hundred research papers in Chinese, Russian, and English took part in the contest.
By unanimous decision of the contest council first places were awarded according to the formula "one winner from each SCO member state" to the following citizens:

From the Republic of Belarus – Valeria Vasilevskaya, doctoral student at Belarusian State University (Minsk).

From the Republic of India – Mr. Rahul, Master of Business Administration (Honours), Maharshi Dayanand University, Incoming Graduate Student, Harvard University.

From the Islamic Republic of Iran – Mr. Ali Naderifard, Islamic Azad University (IAU, Tehran).

From the Republic of Kazakhstan – Nurasyl Bisenov, 1st-year student at the School of Law and Public Administration, Narxoz University (Almaty).

From the People's Republic of China – Chen Tianqi, student at the Institute of International Relations, University of International Business and Economics (Beijing).

From the Kyrgyz Republic – Makhabat Nurgazieva, master's student at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin (Bishkek).

From the Republic of Tajikistan – Khilolabonu Tolibi, student at the Faculty of Law, Tajik National University (Dushanbe).

From the Republic of Uzbekistan – Nilufar Muratbaeva, 3rd-year student at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (Tashkent).

The winners of the contest will be awarded certificates from SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev and commemorative 25th anniversary medals of the SCO.
The contest generated interest among the broad international youth community. Alongside citizens of the ten SCO member states, young researchers from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Yemen, Moldova, Mongolia, and Turkmenistan also took part in the contest. The best authors from these countries will receive special recognition.
The SCO Secretariat sincerely thanks the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students for their participation in the contest and their contribution to the worthy celebration of the Organisation's 25th anniversary.
