International Conference on the Development of Financial and Banking Cooperation within the SCO opens in Dushanbe

On June 10–11, 2026, at the initiative of OJSC "Amonatbank" and within the framework of the Republic of Tajikistan's chairmanship of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States, an international conference was held in Dushanbe on the theme "Artificial Intelligence, Digitalisation, Risk Management and ESG".

The event was attended by representatives of member and partner banks of the SCO Interbank Association, as well as representatives of the SCO Secretariat.

The conference participants examined current trends in the development of the financial and banking sector in SCO member states, paying special attention to digitalisation, the application of artificial intelligence technologies, improving the efficiency of risk management, and expanding the practice of sustainable finance.

They reaffirmed interest in further developing cooperation within the SCO Interbank Association and expanding practical collaboration on priority areas of the financial and banking agenda.
