Experts of SCO Member States hold discussion on Nuclear Security

On June 2–3, 2026, a meeting of experts was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Beijing in a hybrid format, under the chairmanship of the Uzbek side, to discuss the draft Declaration of the SCO Council of Heads of State on Strengthening Multilateral Partnership for Nuclear and Physical Nuclear Security.

Following the meeting the parties prepared a draft Declaration, which is planned for adoption at the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek.
