On June 1–2, 2026, a meeting of experts was held via videoconference under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side to prepare for the Meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation member states.
The parties reviewed draft documents that are to be submitted for approval at the ministerial event scheduled for June 4–6, 2026 in Bishkek.
