On 25–26 May 2026, the first expert meeting to discuss the draft Regulation of the Executive Committee of the SCO Anti-Drug Centre was held in a hybrid format at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat in Beijing, chaired by the Tajikistan side.
The Agreement on the SCO Anti-Drug Centre was signed by the SCO Council of Heads of State on 1 September 2025 in Tianjin, China.
