On May 19, 2026, at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Beijing Deputy Secretary-General Oleg Kopylov met with delegation of the Eastern Institute of Science and Innovation of the Far Eastern Federal University (Russian Federation) headed by Marina Dmitrieva.
The parties exchanged views on current areas of SCO activity, paying special attention to enhancing the role of "Track II" diplomacy, prospects for improving expert-analytical interaction between the largest scientific and educational centers of the Organisation's member states, and expanding mutual academic staff exchanges and student exchanges.
They agreed to continue regular substantive dialogue.
