Permanent Representatives of the SCO Member States hold a meeting in the SCO Secretariat in Beijing

On May 13, 2026, a meeting of the Permanent Representatives of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held at the SCO Secretariat chaired by the Kyrgyz side.

The parties exchanged views on amending the SCO’s legal framework in order to implement the Decision of the SCO Council of Heads of Member States “On the Proposals of the SCO Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Member States on Improving the Activities of the Organization,” adopted on July 4, 2024, in Astana.
