On May 11, 2026, Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan met with representatives of the Republican Youth Organization under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing.
The parties exchanged views on issues of youth cooperation within the SCO, the development of intercultural dialogue, the implementation of educational projects, as well as support for various youth programs.
The Republican Youth Organization under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was established in 2021 on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the aim of consolidating youth, fostering patriotism, and promoting the principles of friendship and unity. The organization unites over 100,000 activists across the country.
