On April 22, 2026, a meeting was held at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretariat in Beijing between Deputy Secretary-General T.R. Midhun and the President of the Greater Caspian Association, Murat Seitnepekov.
The parties exchanged views on relevant areas of cooperation between the Secretariat and the Association in the trade and economic sphere, including logistics, finance, as well as issues of promoting innovation and advancing digitalization in the region.
Mutual interest in further expanding cooperation was confirmed.
