On April 10, 2026, the tenth round of the interactive game "SCO Model – 2026" took place at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing, with the participation of students from the Russian Embassy School in China.
The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The opening ceremony of the Model featured speeches by SCO Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan and Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the SCO Secretariat Lenar Salimullin.
They noted importance of holding such events, as they provide the younger generation with a unique opportunity to role-play as participants in multilateral negotiations and to become familiar with the complexities of diplomatic work.
Let us be honest: the young students professionally simulated a meeting of the SCO Council of National Coordinators, approaching this very challenging task with the powerful energy that is a characteristic of the younger generation!
