On March 16, 2026, in the city of Osh (Kyrgyz Republic) the Council of National Coordinators of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation began its work under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side. The discussions are taking place with the participation of representatives from all ten member states, as well as officials from the SCO Secretariat and the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure.
The agenda includes discussions on preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek and other events scheduled for this year. The meeting will also address current aspects of the Organization's activities in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian, and international spheres, as well as efforts to improve its overall effectiveness.
