On March 9, 2026, the second plenary session of the 4th session of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the 14th convocation opened at the People's Assembly House in Beijing. The meeting was attended by President Xi Jinping and other senior party and government leaders of the country.
Reports on the work of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office were submitted for consideration.
