Briefing for SCO Member States' Permanent Representatives

On January 22, 2026, a briefing for the Permanent Representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States to the SCO Secretariat was held at the SCO Secretariat in Beijing. The briefing was conducted by SCO Deputy Secretaries-General T.R. Midhun and Ahmad Saidmurodzoda.

During the meeting DSGs presented updated information on the outcomes of the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) held in Moscow on November 17-18, 2025, and on the current work for improvement of the Organization's activities.

Parties also exchanged views on a wide range of issues on the SCO's current agenda.
