On January 20, 2026, in Singapore, a meeting took place between the Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Ahmad Saidmurodzoda, and the Chief of Policy& Strategy Group and Plans & Transformation Group at Singapore's Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General NG Pak Shun.
Brigadier General NG Pak Shun welcomed the participation of the SCO Secretariat delegation in the latest IISS Sherpa Meeting of the Shangri-La Dialogue and expressed hope for the Organization's further active involvement in events within this platform. At the request of the Singaporean side A.Saidmurodzoda provided details on defence cooperation, as well as other aspects of security within the SCO framework.
