On the Meeting with a Representative of the "Smile of the Future" Charity Foundation

On January 14, 2026, a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing between SCO Deputy Secretary-General T.R. Midhun and Shan Li, Deputy Secretary-General of the "Smile of the Future" Charity Foundation.

Shan Li presented the main areas of the Foundation's work. In particular, she spoke about current and planned projects aimed at providing medical and social assistance, primarily to children. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding the Foundation's international ties and potential areas of cooperation with the SCO Secretariat.

The "Smile of the Future" Charity Foundation, whose first initiatives date back to 1999, was officially established in 2013. The Foundation is a non-profit organization operating in the fields of healthcare, education, and social development, implementing charitable programs both within China and abroad.
