On December 18, Siarhei Viarheichuk, Advisor of the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, participated via video conference in the session titled "International Expert Dialogue as a Space for Self-Organization and Cooperation."
The session was organized by the Center for Social-Conservative Policy (Moscow). Participants from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, India, and the Secretariats of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the SCO discussed prospects for interaction across the Eurasian space. In his remarks the SCO representative spoke about the specifics of building expert, informational, and analytical work at the stages of the Organization's initial formation and further development. He emphasized the role of the SCO Forum and the SCO Consortium of Economic Analytical Centers in translating ideas and political directives into practical deeds.
Participants were briefed on the key tasks in the informational and analytical sphere in the context of the upcoming landmark event in 2026 – the 25th anniversary of the Organization.
