Expert group discussed the initiative to establish Joint Working Group of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states on the provision of vital and emergency medical products.

On December 17, 2025 a meeting of experts was held under the chairmanship of the Iranian side to discuss the initiative to establish a Joint Working Group of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states on the provision of vital and emergency medical products.

The event took place via videoconference with the participation of representatives from relevant ministries and agencies of the Organization's member states.

The parties confirmed their strong interest in developing cooperation in the field of medicine, including matters of providing vital and emergency medical products and agreed to continue further work on the aforementioned initiative.
