On December 9, 2025, in Iran (Kish Island) the Investment and Trade Exhibition of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states commenced its work as part of the Second International Exhibition "Kish Expo-2025".
The event was attended by representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, leading companies from more than 40 countries, including members of the "SCO community". National pavilions have been organized to showcase the economic and industrial capabilities of the participating countries.

The exhibition's opening ceremony featured speeches by Deputy Secretary-General of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) and T.R. Midhun, Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO. In his welcoming address, T.R. Midhun emphasized the SCO's role in strengthening multilateral cooperation and creating favorable conditions for the implementation of joint initiatives.
The event program includes scheduled panel discussions, seminars, and investment forums. Key discussion topics are trade facilitation, energy transition, innovation, and sustainable development.
"Kish Expo" serves as a platform for dialogue between government agencies, experience exchange, and establishing connections among business entities. The platform aims to expand trade and investment cooperation among SCO countries, develop industrial partnerships, promote innovation, and strengthen regional integration. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of sustainable development and "green" economy initiatives within the Organization's space.
