On December 9-10, 2025, a regular meeting of the Permanent Representatives of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states to the SCO Secretariat was held at the SCO Secretariat in Beijing under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side.
The participants reviewed draft documents related to improving the activities of the SCO.
During the meeting the Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic Rakhman Adanov delivered a presentation on the "Address to the UN Member States to support the candidacy of the Kyrgyz Republic for the non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council for the period 2027-2028" adopted by the Heads of State of Central Asia, as well as on the International Mountain Day that is commemorated annually on December 11.
The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saidkamol Agzamkhodjaev informed the parties about the outcomes of the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent.
