On December 1, 2025, a press conference was held in Bishkek with the participation of international observer delegations for the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the conference Piao Yangfan, Head of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Observer Mission and SCO Deputy Secretary-General, presented information on the results of the SCO Mission’s work. The Final Statement of the SCO Observer Mission was announced. It noted that the expression of the people’s will corresponded to the requirements of Kyrgyz legislation and the country’s international obligations. The electoral process was recognized as transparent, credible, and democratic. The level of election organization and the high civic responsibility of the population were also commended.
On behalf of the Mission Piao Yangfan congratulated the people of the Kyrgyz Republic on the successful conduct of the elections and wished them success in implementing the course aimed at strengthening independence, sovereignty, and ensuring sustainable socio-economic development.
