On November 27, 2025 in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev took part in the plenary meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
An exchange of views took place on current issues of international and regional security. Participants also discussed the main outcomes of the CSTO's activities in the current year under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan.
On the sidelines of the event Nurlan Yermekbayev held conversations with a number of Secretaries of the Security Councils as well as heads of foreign policy and defense departments of the SCO member states.
