On November 26, 2025 a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing between SCO Deputy Secretary-General T.R. Midhun and Deputy Director of the Bureau for International Exhibitions of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
The guest expressed her gratitude to the SCO Secretariat for its long-standing support of the China-Eurasia Expo. She provided an update on the upcoming the 9th Expo, scheduled in 2026 in Urumqi and extended an invitation to the leadership of the SCO Secretariat.
T.R. Midhun thanked the colleagues from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for their cooperation noting that the SCO Secretariat, within its mandate, would continue to provide all possible support for the Expo and other joint projects.
