On November 5, 2025, regular meeting of the permanent representatives of the SCO member states was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a draft list of events dedicated to the celebration of the SCO's 25th anniversary in 2026, and exchanged views on their organizational support. In addition, a number of other relevant topics on the current agenda of the Organization's activities were considered.
The discussions traditionally took place in a businesslike and interested atmosphere, consistent with the joint commitment of the Member States to consistently strengthen cooperation across the entire spectrum of areas.
