On 1 November 2025, Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, delivered a video address to the delegates of the DISCOVER ATOM International Forum of Science and Tourism (Moscow), organised at the initiative of the ATOM Foundation for Assistance to Scientific, Educational, and Communication Initiatives.
In his address, the Secretary General noted that the SCO space offered tremendous opportunities for implementing joint innovative and educational projects. He highlighted the relevance and potential of the idea of creating an Association of Science and Technology Museums, which would unite our countries’ efforts to promote scientific research and popularise cultural heritage.
