Consultations on Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Cooperation within the SCO

On 29 October 2025, under Russia’s chairmanship, a regular meeting of the SCO Commission of Senior Officials in Charge of Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Cooperation was held via videoconference.

The participants held an in-depth discussion of the draftAction Plan for 2026-2030 on the implementation of the Programme of Multilateral and Economic Cooperation Between SCO Member States.

The meeting took place as part of preparations for the upcoming session of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, which will be held in Moscow on 17-18 November 2025.

The SCO Commission of Senior Officials in Charge of Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Cooperation was established by a decision of the Meeting of Ministers of SCO Member States in Charge of Foreign Economic and Foreign Trade Activities on 6 September 2003. Its work is governed by the SCO Rules of Procedure, adopted on 11June 2010.
