The third Tianjin Sports Marathon was held in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, with the support of the Municipal People’s Government and the Tianjin Sports Bureau.

More than 33,000 participants from 39 countries took part in the race, including professional athletes and amateur runners, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, its Secretariat, and other international organizations.
The competition program included races over distances of 5 km, 21 km, and 42 km. The route passed through the city streets, covering both historic landmarks and modern urban areas.

The marathon became another step toward promoting mass sports, encouraging a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening international humanitarian ties. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and volunteers, noting that the event took place in an atmosphere of friendship, sportsmanship, and mutual respect.
