On October 14-18, 2025, an industrial tour dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ‘Two Mountains’ theory took place, focusing on new stages of qualitative development. The tour included visits to the cities of Hangzhou, Shaoxing, and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province, China. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.
The event was attended by ambassadors accredited in China from Cyprus, Pakistan, Serbia, Thailand, chargé d'affaires from Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Estonia, as well as representatives from the embassies of Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Grenada, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Malta, Panama, Croatia, and Japan.
As part of the program, participants visited the Hangzhou Intelligent Management Center, leading regional companies such as Alibaba Group and Geely Auto Group, the Chinese “Textile City,” Zhoushan Port, Waitongwu Village, and the city of Huangjiu.
From the SCO Secretariat, Nodira Sodikzoda participated in the event and held talks with the leadership of Shaoxing and Ningbo. Positive progress in the development of industrial cooperation within the Organization was noted, emphasizing the significance of this event as an effective platform for further development of international dialogue and strengthening of partnership ties in the industrial sector.
The tour served as an important platform for experience exchange and establishing business contacts. Delegates had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the achievements of the regional industrial sector, study economic development trends, and evaluate the results of implementing strategic initiatives.
