On October 12, 2025, the Tianjin Foreign Studies University hosted the symposium “Departure from Tianjin: Theory and Practice of Building a More Cohesive SCO Community with a Shared Future.” The event brought together leaders and representatives of leading research institutions and universities of the People’s Republic of China.
In his video address to the delegates, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Sohail Khan emphasized the importance of China’s initiative, which reflects the collective aspiration of the member states to ensure peace, stability, development, and prosperity. He highlighted that in the Tianjin Declaration of September 1, 2025, the leaders of the Organization reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation, including the shared vision of building a “community with a shared future for mankind.”
