In the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing, the Secretary General, Nurlan Ermekbayev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People's Republic of China, Aktilek Musaeva.
The head of the diplomatic mission provided an update on Kyrgyzstan’s priorities during its SCO presidency, including the joint activities planned for the upcoming period.
The Secretary General emphasized the Secretariat's commitment to close cooperation in order to effectively implement the Kyrgyz presidency's agenda, which focuses on achieving practical results in all areas of cooperation within the Organization.
The two sides exchanged views on the outcomes of the Tianjin Summit (September 1, 2025), as well as on preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government, which will be held in Moscow in November.
