On September 25-26, 2025, the Second International Conference of Young Authors of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the topic "Dynamics of Creative Spaces in the Digital Age" was held in New Delhi under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of India.
The event was opened by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Kirti Vardhan Singh, SCO National Coordinator from India Alok Amitabh Dimri, Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education of India Bhardwaj Varun.
In her speech, Minara Rakhanova, Adviser to the SCO Secretariat, stressed that the Organization's member states give priority attention to issues of interaction with the younger generation. A number of initiatives are being implemented through the SCO Youth Council, including in the field of entrepreneurship. It was noted that the current Conference is an effective platform for exchanging views between young talents, generating innovative ideas, including digital technologies, which will further strengthen youth exchanges between the Organization's Member States.
The first International Conference of SCO Young Authors was held in New Delhi in 2023 during the Indian presidency of the Organization. The event is held once every two years.
