On August 30, 2025, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev arrived in Tianjin to participate in the Organization's Summit.
At the Tianjin Railway Station, the Secretary General was met by the Head of the Office for External Relations of the People's Government of the city.
During his stay in Tianjin, Nurlan Yermekbayev will take part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO member States and a meeting in the SCO+ format, which will be held on August 31 - September 1 this year, and will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.
