SCO Deputy Secretary General Meets with Leadership of Chinese Association for Public Diplomacy

On August 20, 2025, a delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Vice President of the Chinese Association for Public Diplomacy, Tong Xiaolin, visited the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Warmly welcoming the guests, Deputy Secretary-General Oleg Kopylov spoke about the process of preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Tianjin, expressed the Secretariat’s readiness to continue working closely with the Association. The parties discussed prospects for interaction in the field of public diplomacy, including the joint holding of thematic events with the participation of public organizations and the media.
