On August 5, 2025 in Avaza (Turkmenistan), Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Ahmad Saidmurodzoda participated in a special event on transport and interconnectedness.
The meeting, chaired by Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian, was attended by the Prime Minister of Nepal, the Minister of Transport of Tajikistan, high representatives of Austria, Ethiopia, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
During his speech, Ahmad Saidmurodzoda spoke about the development of cooperation between the SCO member states in the transport sector. The participants were provided with information about the Agreement between the Governments of the Organization's Member States on creating favourable conditions for International Road Transport and other relevant documents.
