On August 5, 2025, a collective meeting was held in Beijing, organized as part of the special educational program of the China International Youth Exchange Centre.
Warmly welcoming the guests to the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Deputy Secretary General Batir Tursunov informed about the SCO's activities, key areas of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and the practical results of the Organization's work. It was emphasized that the SCO pays priority attention to developing the potential of youth and, in particular, entrepreneurship. The organization consistently promotes exchanges between young people, encouraging their active participation in regional cooperation, including the development of creative and leadership potential.
Following the discussions, it was decided to continue regular contacts between the SCO Secretariat and the China International Youth Exchange Center.
