On August 1, 2025, SCO Deputy Secretary General Batir Tursunov met with Li Ziguo, Director of the Institute of Eurasian Studies at the Chinese Academy of International Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, in Beijing.
B. Tursunov noted the active role of the Institute in providing scientific and analytical support for the SCO's activities, as well as strengthening regular contacts between the think tanks of the Organization's countries.
The parties discussed the possibilities of jointly organizing scientific and practical events on topical issues of the SCO and the prospects for further strengthening multifaceted cooperation within the Organization.
