On July 24, 2025, in Beijing, SCO Deputy Secretaries General Ahmad Saidmurodzoda and Piao Yangfan held a meeting with senior officials of the embassies of the SCO dialogue partner states accredited in the People's Republic of China. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Department of Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Permanent Representatives of the SCO member States to the Secretariat.

During the meeting, the Deputy Secretaries-General briefed on the activities carried out by the Member States during the Chinese presidency. Special attention was paid to the results of the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states held on July 14-15, 2025 in Tianjin and preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State and relevant events on August 31 - September 1, 2025.

The dialogue partners were also presented with some aspects of the SCO Secretariat's activities to expand the Organization's international relations and strengthen its positive image in the media space.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place with the participation of permanent representatives and dialogue partners on ways to expand the participation of dialogue partners in events on the SCO's multidimensional agenda and the implementation of a Roadmap to strengthen cooperation between SCO member states and dialogue partners.

The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Cambodia, Qatar, Kuwait, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Turkey accredited in China.
