On July 14, 2025, in Beijing, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization N.Yermekbayev met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India S.Jaishankar.
The Secretary General spoke about the preparations for the meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Heads of State of the Organization and the process of improving the activities of the SCO.
The Minister noted that the Indian side pays special attention to the work of the SCO, intends to continue to take an active part in the work of its mechanisms, and also supports proposals aimed at improving the effectiveness of the Organization.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
